I knew instantaneously that my world as I knew it had changed far more drastically than I ever could have anticipated, and I truly thought that I’d never have the desire to work again. I poured everything I had into this new tiny being and had zero – I mean zero – urge to create for myself. At first it was quite scary. I mean, pre-baby my interior design business was my entire life and the thought of just saying goodbye never crossed my mind. With time, however, inspiration began to strike once more and I’ve recently found myself with the desire to flex those creative muscles once again. Lately I’ve been finding myself feeling grateful to other creatives who share their work so freely as there’s no question that they’ve helped reignite my creative spirit – typically during those late night feeds while scrolling through Instagram. Salt Design Co. is one company I’ve been following closely this year and whose work I’ve loved immensely.
