This morning I woke up and decided to share a glimpse into my not yet fully finished new bedroom. All that drive and vigor came from a very good night’s sleep and a fresh and easy-going start in the morning. And this happened despite the dark and gloomy season here. Waking up in wintertime is a real challenge – my alarm clock is set at 6:45 am and it is still night outside. Now our human body is just like any other living being – we need light to live. And to wake up. Several studies have shown the effect of light on sleeping and waking patterns. So I decided to change my pattern too and wake up with the sunrise. Even in dark winter times.

For today’s post I have teamed up with Philips. When they approached me and asked if I was game to test their new Wake Up Light I was hesitant at first. A Wake Up Light" I have an alarm clock.
