Summer is almost over. Yet we enjoyed some very sunny and warm days in Munich earlier this week. It was a great moment to celebrate and salute summer with good friends, a yummy BBQ dinner, and the best garden companions: colourful Acapulco chairs. Honestly, these chairs have been a constant crush for me – the timeless design and the colors! Not to mention that I love Mexico and these chairs feel like a Mexican design icon to me! So pairing friends, BBQ and a few beautiful Acapulco chairs in my friend’s garden seemed like a great set up to salute summer in 2018!

Late summer evenings are the best – it is still warm but not hot, the light is magic and the transition to a new season is in flux. Even though I could feel a bit of autumn in the air, it still felt a lot like summer – partly because of the sunshine, partly because of the Acapulco chairs in petrol and the stool in yellow. The combination looked like a dash of summer coming directly from Mexico. Luckily nowadays you don’t have to travel all the way to Mexico to get your Acapulco chair.
