If you?re new to my mom?s kitchen renovation series of posts, you might want to start here! When it comes to selecting hard finishes for any space I tackle, I tend to like to err on the safer side of things and opt for classic, timeless, materials in a more neutral palette. I mean, a throw pillow or a piece of furniture can be easily switched out if you grow tired of it. But it’s a little more difficult to re-tile your kitchen five years down the line, you know what I mean" Knowing full well that my mom plans on living in her current home for as long as her body allows her, the focus on timelessness for her kitchen renovation was paramount. This will most definitely be her forever kitchen, and it needs to act as such and stand the test of time.
