We live in times of abundance and endless choices. More than ever it is important to make conscious choices whenever we decide to buy something new. This not only applies to food and fashion but to interiors too. We might not be able to make the world a better place with our home decor choices, but maybe we can contribute with a small step in the right direction. With this in mind, the young Danish design label WOUD launched a new home textiles collection named WEAVE. But what makes these cushions a better and conscious choice for my (and your) home"

The cushions and throws of the WEAVE collection are a comfy and soothing addition to any home. But they are not only about comfort and coziness. Yes, they are also beautifully designed. The design emphasis is on traditional weave patterns so the collection comes in three different designs: Diamond, Herringbone, and Canvas. The colour range is soft and earthy and the cushions come with round corners and a subtle, velvety feel. But again, it is not only about the feeling and the design. So what makes those cushions special"
First of all: Those cushions come stuffed. And the inner cushion is made of recycled plastic bottles that have been processed into a soft filling. Additionally, the cushion sizes have been chosen to reduce fabric waste to an absolute minimum. Thus these cushions do not only look and feel good, but they ARE good.
