It is mid November and I can’t believe Christmas is just six weeks away! How time flies! Anyway, I won’t complain as November has been incredibly beautiful here – sunny and pretty mild. And December is definitely something to look forward to: fairy lights, Christmas markets, mulled wine, and the joy of Advent calendars. Here in Germany Advent calendars have a big tradition. Almost everyone has one in December and the common version ‘surprises’ you with a piece of chocolate every day up to Christmas. However, how about changing the experience to real daily surprises for interior decoration lovers" My go-to source for art, Juniqe, had a great idea: They launched the art Advent calendar!

In December surprise yourself or a beloved person with a daily art delight. The Juniqe Advent calendar comes in five versions: four thematic calendars (botanical, animals, black & white, motivation quotes) and one mixed calendar. Do I need to specify which one I picked" Ha ha probably not. Of course I went for the botanical Advent calendar. I can’t wait to be surprised every day in December until the 24th but for this blog post I had to peek into number one at least. May the spirit of Christmas present forgive me!
