Much like choosing the right living room rug size, how to pick the right bedroom rug size is as much of an art as it is a science. And while there are always exceptions to any of these rules, there are a few things that I always keep in mind when choosing a bedroom rug size for my clients:  No. 1:: Typically the rug should be centered under your bed No. 2:: The rug should extend past the foot of the bed by at least 18″ No. 3:: The rug should be around 12″, give or take, away from your nightstands No. 4:: There should be at least 8″ between the edge of the rug and any walls If you answered yes to all (or at the very least most) of the above, you’re choosing the right bedroom rug size!
