Finally I have my hands on a renovation project! This is a 1200 square foot 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex with a small patio, in need of a top to bottom makeover. I?ll share more ?before? pictures in the weeks to come as I tackle these spaces.
Here?s a peek at the rear patio where I?ll be building a privacy fence to enclose this open space and create an outdoor room. There are neighbors on three sides, so a privacy fence makes perfect sense.

 
My plan is to build one, but I need to submit plans to the homeowner?s association so I?m working on those now. I gathered some inspiring ideas for privacy fences just in case you?re looking to build one too! The slatted versions provide some shade but also allow for airflow.
