The writing is on the wall~literally.I have spent four 11 hour days putting up my Metrie pieces, and while it was tedious, I have to say that I love the look!Since I am not changing out the tile or anything major, I knew I would need a big impact in the room, and this is it.
I have never done this type of work before, so it was a bit of a challenge getting into the routine of it.I made a lot of wrong cuts and nailed things in the wrong place.{thank goodness for spackle}But in the end, after some sweat and tears, I finished nailing up the last piece and I am sooo happy I stuck with it!
I got the architrave up above the windows and doorways and I love the depth it adds.

Our new sconce from Lucent Light Shop is installed thanks to my husband.Check out their shop for the coolest light fixtures.They will even make custom ones for you!The brass combination with the black on this is beautiful.
And I have just started painting.I wanted to get a little up so you could see how much brighter the space is going to look with Benjamin Moore's SeaPearl.

I can't wait to show you these monogrammed towels. I am also waiting onthese soft robes, this hamper, and these storage bins.
