Green Tile – Bathroom Installations
I made it to Florida, and the renovations have begun! I’m sharing on my Instagram stories if you’re interested in seeing the projects from start to finish. My electricians and plumbers have already started their work and my hall bathroom remodel starts next week. I?ll be replacing old 12×12″ porcelain tile with an updated marble hexagon. I?m still deciding on the wall tile but it will be a complementary shade in either a sea green or minty green, I just have to make sure my sample compliments the existing shades of green in the floor tile.
Green is a popular hue on both kitchen cabinets and in modern tile installations. You can label the color trendy but I?ve always considered green to be timeless. In interior design, it’s our preference in green colors that have changed over time. Remember avocado green was popular in the 1970s and forest green in the 1980s! Sage was the rage in the 1990s, vivid coastal inspired blue greens were popular in the 2000s, and in present day more organic hues like olive and muted gray greens are the shades that are trending. The color green will never go out of style and how could it" Green is everywhere in nature and so calming, so it?s a great choice for bathroom showers and walls. Below are several creative installations for green tile in bathrooms, a few have inspired my own bathroom remodel.
